Excluding airtime minutes from Eat Bulaga and non-recurring items (e.g political ads, Pacman fight, etc) GMA's ad minutes for the first 6 months of 2011 increased by 26% year-on-year! This was caused by the availability of airtime slots in the first half of 2011 as compared to the congested airtime slots during the first half of 2010 as Political advocacies limit the recurring commercial ads. Another factor which drove better load for channel 7 is GMA's improved ratings in the NUTAM , capturing the lead since January this year. The increase came particularly from its daytime line-up as Temptation of Wife and Dramarama programs brought in tons of commercial advertisements. However, its total ad minutes in Prime time went flat year-on-year as ABS-CBN 's Primetime Bida continued its unchallenged dominance in NUTAM.
