GMA-7's nightly news program, 24 Oras, is the top choice of TV advertisers as it stands as the most loaded program in local television. GMA-7 seems to benefit more from Willing Willie's suspension as around 70% of WW's approximately 20 ad minutes were moved by the advertisers to channel 7. 24 Oras averaged 33 ad minutes early this week, which is the highest among nightly programs for all channels. Rival from ABS-CBN's TV Partrol were unchanged at 21 ad minutes, relatively 36% lower than 24 Oras.
In terms of commercial airtime ratio, 24 Oras still leads its time slot with ad minutes consuming 33% of the total airtime. TV Patrol on the other hand has a 25%, Mutya 31% and Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin has 28%. Under the 18-minute KBP rule a program is only allowed to have 30% commercial airtime (inclusive of TV pluggings). Dwarfina and Captain Barbel has 38% and 30% commercial airtime respectively (exclusive of TV pluggings).
