MANILA, Philippines - The country's 3rd largest media network will likely break even 4 years after the group led by businessman Manuel V. Pangilinan acquired it, officials of affiliate firm Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. (PLDT) said.

"We expect TV5 to finally break even in 2013," PLDT president Napoleon Nazareno said at a press briefing on Tuesday, May 8.

Previously, the group said they aim to break even and be in the black by 2014.

MTRCB TO PUNISH TULFO BROTHERS FOR THREATHETING THE SANTIAGOS ON NATIONAL TV!

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) on Tuesday has set a hearing to discuss the possible punishment for the brothers Tulfo, namely Erwin, Raffy and Ben, for threatening the life of showbiz couple Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barreto on their program on TV5.

“Acting on numerous complaints from the general public and based on the board's own monitoring, the Office of the MTRCB legal counsel has found probable cause to charge the television program 'T3 KAPATID SAGOT KITA,' aired over TV5,” MTRCB chairperson Mary Grace Poe Llamanzares said in a statement Tuesday.
