KRIS TV REGISTERS RATINGS LOWER THAN UMAGANG KAY GANDA IN MM!

ABS-CBN's television shares in Mega Manila continuously drops as its morning line-up suffers worsened inferiority rivals from rivals on GMA! Kris TV even registered ratings lower than Umagang kay Ganda while Happy Yipee Yehey scored 7x lower than Eat Bulaga! I Dare You and Banana Split are also smashed by Dramarama rivals with ratings merely reaching one fifth (1/5) of Sinner or Saint. In Prime time only 100 Days to Heaven is doing good in the ratings game.

STUDIO 23 AD TOTAL AD MINUTES UP BY 87%!

Despite being a non-election year ABS-CBN's sister channel, Studio 23, was able to increase its total ad minutes by as much as 87% year-on-year! This is in spite of a 2% industry wide decline in total TV Ad spending from 161, 609 ad minutes (2010) to 161,248 on the first six months of 2011.

This increase was brought about by the HUGE decline in QTV's ad minutes which early this year took a transformation to become a News Channel from an Entertainment Channel.

Last year, QTV was the NO.3 free tv channel in terms of Ad loadings but it fell to No.5, behind Studio 23 and TV5, when it transformed to GMA NEWS TV!

It was directed  Jun Lana inspired by the success of Temptation of Wife, a korean drama aired in GMA-7.

THE DEBUT OF SA NGALAN NG INA A DISAPPOINMENT FOR TV5!

The debut of TV5's Sa Ngalan ng Ina  was a big disappointment in the numbers game as it only rated 4.3% in Mega Manila! This figure fails to pose any threat to GMA-7's Munting Heredera which continues to lead the game in Prime time. Sa Ngalan ng Ina also showed lower figures than its predecessor Bangis which on its peak has reached 6% people ratings. Considering the enormous cost of promoting this program and the high rocketing talent fees of the cast, Sa Ngalan ng Ina is a HUGE disappointment for TV5.

IMPOSTOR BAGS NOMINATION FROM THE INT'L EMMY AWARDS!

MANILA, Philippines – ABS-CBN's defunct drama series "Precious Hearts Romances presents: Impostor" was nominated in the 2011 International Emmy Awards.

The show, headlined by Maja Salvador, Sam Milby, Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco, tells the story of a provincial lass who was forced to take the persona of a well-known model.

TV5 DENIES THE NEWS OF NORA AUNOR ASKING TO OUST CRISTY FERMIN!

Nilinaw na ng TV5 president and CEO na si Atty. Ray Espinosa ang balitang gusto diumanong ipatanggal ng Superstar na si Nora Aunor ang entertainment columnist na si Cristy Fermin sa mga programa nito sa Kapatid network.

Sa ngayon ay nagho-host si Cristy ng dalawang showbiz talk shows: ang daily na Juicy! Express at ang weekly na Paparazzi.

Mayroon din siyang radio-TV program sa AksyonTV, ang news channel ng TV5 na maririnig din sa radio station nito.

Nahaharap ngayon sa mga kasong "child abuse" at "oral defamation" sa Quezon City Prosecutor's Office ang talent manager na si Annabelle Rama.

Idinemanda si Annabelle ng dating aktres na si Nadia Montenegro, ina ng TV5 talents na sina Alyanna Asistio, 17, at Annika Asistio, 15.

Kapwa talents ni Annabelle ang dalawang anak na ito ni Nadia sa ilalim ng Royale Artist Management.

PAGLABAG SA MANAGEMENT CONTRACT? Sa isinumiteng four-page affidavit ni Nadia, kasama ang dalawang anak, noong Biyernes, September 30, inakusahan nito si Annabelle ng paglabag diumano sa kasunduan sa kanilang management contract.

Sa halip na tatlong taon lamang ay pinalawig daw ni Annabelle ang kontrata to five years, forcing her daughters to work under the talent manager's supervision.

NEW SEASON OF BLEACH SET TO WIDEN GMA'S LEAD IN DAYTIME!

MANILA, Philippines - GMA 7 takes viewers back to the world of Shinigami or soul reapers with the new season of the anime series Bleach, which begins today.

Bleach follows the story of a seemingly average teenager named Ichigo and his transformation to being a substitute Shinigami, one who controls the flow of souls between the human world and the afterlife. Ichigo differs from other people because he has the ability to see stray souls and monsters which are invisible to the human eye.

KUNG PANINIWALAAN ANG balitang nasagap namin, isang public service program daw na mala-Wish Ko Lang ang pinag-uusapan between Viva and TV5 na planong gawin ng megastar na si Sharon Cuneta sa Kapatid Network, kung totoo ngang lilipat na ang aktres dito sa 2012.

Ang nakakabaliw sa “bombang balita” na itsinika sa amin ay hindi lang daw si Sharon ang host nito kundi pati ang dating Pangulong Joseph “Erap” Estrada, at ang initial title ay Kung May Hirap, May Ginhawa.

“Hindi makahindi si Sharon kay Erap dahil ninong ‘ata niya ito,” say ng aming source. “Si Sharon, parang ang gusto na niya ngayon sa stage ng career niya on TV ay ‘yung makatulong rin sa kapwa, parang si Oprah,” dagdag nito.
