MAGIC PALAYOK FAILS TO BEAT MULA SA PUSO IN NIELSEN'S NUTAM!

Citing data from AGB Nielsen's National Urban Ratings, Magic Palayok failed to beat Mula Sa Puso in the Urban regions! On MSP's premiere, last March 28, 2011, Magic Palayok trailed behind by 0.5% with only 16.6% household ratings. The following days Mula sa Puso increased its lead by 1.5%, 2.3% and 2.3% respectively leaving Magic Palayok behind at 15.3% last Thursday from 16.6% last Monday. 

On the other hand, Captain Barbell proved to be a no match against NUTAM titans, Mutya and Minsan Lang Kitang Iibigin. Captain Barbel's debut only reached 23.6%, 10 points behind Mutya's 33.6% and MLKI's 31.2%. CP even dropped further the following days falling out the 20's mark with only 19.7% Household ratings last March 31. ABS-CBN's prime time bida remains unshaken in the evening battle.

According to a column item in Abante, the four, who were visiting the Queen City to promote the GMA TV series, “Captain Barbell,” were allegedly rudely treated by an airport staff simply for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

SHOWTIME NO.1 ULIT SA UMAGA!

Kapamilya's daytime talent search program, Showtime, is slowly regaining supremacy in its time slot as it slams a straight win this week in Kantar Media's National Household survey! Citing KMR's lastest data last March 30, Showtime easily defeated GMA's Kapuso Movie Festival with a   13.5% score as against 12.9% of closest rival. This slightly elevated ABS-CBN's morning ratings by almost a percent to 8.1% from 7.2% in a 3-day comparison. On audience share basis, channel 2 climbed to 32% while GMA-7 sat 1% lower to 35%.
