Following the continued success of its noontime block timer, Eat Bulaga, and its unchallenged leadership in the Afternoon block, GMA-7 almost bested the combined viewers of rivals ABS-CBN and TV5 for the month of July! Its flagship channel 7 accumulated an average of 16.2% household ratings almost at par with TV5's and ABS-CBN's combined ratings of 17.8%. This is largely caused by the good ratings driven by the Kapuso Movie Festival which replaced the GMA Trio Panalo that served as the weakling in the 2nd quarter.
ABS-CBN saw a dramatic decline in the numbers game as its Kapamilya Gold entries failed to pull up its afternoon numbers and its prime time slowly losing the battle against rivals from GMA. TV5 almost remained unchanged for the past 6 months only capturing between 14%-15% audience share. ABS-CBN has lost the NUTAM battle for July after it bested GMA-7 last May and June.

Pueding malaman kung ano ang significance nito? Sa nakikita ko kasi hindi nila ito na-i-co-convert sa income nila, sa kalidad ng show nila, sa kalidad ng mga artista nila at sa pagkuha sa mga artista nila ng mga advertisers para gawing endorsers.
