ABS-CBN PRIME TIME PROGRAMS LEADS FIRST QUARTER RATINGS BATTLE!

Panalo ang ABS-CBN sa national primetime TV ratings noong Marso (6:00 p.m. - 12:00 midnight) kung saan pumalo ito sa average audience share na 42%, mas mataas ng 12 puntos kesa sa kalabang network na GMA 7 na may 30%.

Ayon sa datos ng Kantar Media/TNS, isang pinagkakatiwalaang global market research group na nagsasagawa ng audience research measurement systems sa 32 bansa, nakuha ng ABS-CBN ang siyam sa sampung mga programa na pinakapinanood noong nakaraang buwan.



Nanguna rito ang Mara Clara sa average rating na 35.9%.

Ang walo pang Kapamilya programs na nakapasok sa top ten ay Mutya, (34.4%), Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin (33.1%), Pilipinas Got Talent (30.1%), Maalaala Mo Kaya (27.8%), TV Patrol (27.3%), Rated K (25.2%), Imortal (23.9%) at Goin Bulilit (22.1%).

Maging sa Metro Manila, Mara Clara (31.1%), Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin (26.2%) at Mutya (26.1%) ang nasa top three most-watched programs sa lahat ng time blocks.

Ang AM radio station ng ABS-CBN na DZMM ay umariba rin sa Nielsen Mega Manila RAM para sa January 2011. Nakakuha ito ng audience share na 32.9% na talo pa ang pinagsamang audience share ng DZBB ng GMA Network (16.4%) at DZRH ng Manila Broadcasting Corporation (14%) para sa parehong buwan.

Sa pangkalahatan, pumalo ang ABS-CBN sa first quarter ng 2011 sa average audience share na 36% laban sa 35% ng GMA.

Mula Enero 1 hanggang Marso 31, nakuha ng ABS-CBN ang sampu sa top ten most watched prog­rams para sa unang tatlong buwan ng taon. Una sa listahan ang Mara Clara sa average nationwide rating na 33.7% na sinusundan ng Mutya (33.2%), Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin (33.1%), Pilipinas Got Ta­lent (29.7), Noah (28%), TV Patrol (27.1%), Imortal (25.5%), Maalaala Mo Kaya (24.4%), Rated K (23.4%), Wansapanataym (21.8%), at Goin Bulilit (21.5%).

Nagsimulang maglabas ng TV ratings sa Pilipinas noong Pebrero 2009 ang Kantar Media. May 1,370 panels o kabahayan ang Kantar Media/TNS sa Luzon, Visayas, at Mindanao na kumakatawan sa buong bansa.

At dun naman sa nagsabi na sa KOREA tns ang ginagamit ang masasabi ko naman sa US Nielsen ang ginagamit.

first quarter daw pero ang basis, wala pang isang linggo

this article is just stating facts:
1. tambak ang kabila pag primetime
2. overall, panalo pa din buong araw ang kapamilya with a small amount of lead
3. tambak ang kabila sa AM radio (considering na pareho ang majority ang news anchors ng tv at radio for both competitors)

ANG BILIS ng KARMA SA ABS CBN. Bumalik din sa kanila ang ginawa nila kay WILLIE. Nagpullout ang UNILIEVER sa lahat ng live game shows including ABS CBN.

Ang kasamaan bumabalik talaga sa mga taong gumagawa ng MASAMA tulad ng ABS CBN.

Ang ulam ko lang sa kantar advertising research lang sila. Never sila nag conduct US TV RATINGS. Nielsen Media ang nag iisang naggumagawa ng ratings sa US TV.

Lahat kasi media platform meron ang NIELSEN. Dito ng sa PINAS ang ABS CBN subscriber ng NIELSEN radio. Kasi walang radio rating ang KANTAR

LOS ANGELES -- A year ago this month Madison Avenue buyers didn't know what to make of Fox's musical dramedy Glee. Falling outside clearly defined genres--was it a musical? A comedy? A drama?--advertisers were hesitant to bet on it.

The show, which has seen its recent ratings skyrocket care of its spring lead-in American Idol, is now a pop culture phenomenon, complete with chart-topping music and a hotly anticipated concert tour. But because of those early misgivings, it averaged only $1.4 million in ad revenue per half-hour in 2009, putting the series at an unimpressive 45th place among all network shows on our list of TV's Biggest Moneymakers.

To determine which series generated the most advertising revenue in 2009, we turned to the data crunchers at Kantar Media, who tracks ad spending, among other metrics. The firm surveyed all regularly scheduled prime-time shows, excluding sports franchises, for our third annual version of the list. For an apples-to-apples comparison of network programs of differing lengths, the series are ranked based on ad revenue per average 30 minutes.
