MAGIC PALAYOK & MY LOVER MY WIFE SOARS HIGH IN ITS DEBUT!

GMA's new dramas My Lover my Wife and Magic Palayok starts strong both in Mega Manila and National Urban as they drowned rivals in the ratings game. Magic Palayok scored 11.1% in Mega Manila, more than  tiwce better than The Price is Right with only 4.2%. It also edged Kris Aquino in TNS with an impressive 21.7% versus 13.7% from ABS-CBN. Magic Palayok is the highest rating Kapuso program in the national ratings even beating mainstream prime time programs 24 Oras, I Heat U Pare and The Baker King.

Meanwhile My Lover My Wife proved to be a good replacement for Koreana as it continued its predecesor's good performance in the Ratings Game. It surpassed Malparida and I love You So with ease scoring double in TNS (16% vs 8.2% & 8.9%) and almost triple in AGB's Mega Manila survey, (8.4% vs 3.7% & 3%). 

The exclusive coverage of  the 83rd  Oscars Award in ABS-CBN proved to be not interesting for Filipinos as it only stood 6.6% and 1.9% in the National and Mega Manila respectively. It also dragged down HYY which only rated 7.7% in the Urban Ratings. ABS-CBN remains helpless in the daytime race.
