As usual, mainit pa rin ang bangayan ng mga Kapamilya at Kapuso tungkol sa ratings, batuhan ng mga paratang at sagutan kung sinong survey company nga ba ang tunay na credible? Laging banat ng mga kapuso na ang TNS daw , particularly ang National Ratings ay bias sa ABS-CBN... samantalang ang mga kapamilya naman ay nagsasabing tampered ang inilalabas ng AGB (Mega Manila) na pabor sa GMA-7.
Pero these past few months, sadyang maging sa AGB Mega Manila Ratings ay nanguna ang ABS-CBN. Ngunit biglang nahinto ang pag release ng AGB ng rating since May 10. At kailan lang, nagbalik ang AGB na may mga bagong figures (mas mababa kumpara sa AGB TV Ratings) at bagong sistema! Bagamat patuloy pa ring nangunguna ang mga Kapamilya shows sa AGB Mega Manila People Rating ay umaalma pa rin ang maraming kapamilya... Bakit daw kailangan palitan bigla ang sistema, (dahil daw ba nangunguna na ang ABS-CBN laban sa GMA?) at bakit pili lang ang panahon kung kailan sila maglalabas ng ratings? May paliwanag po ba bakit mas mababa ang figures samantalang people rating ito? At hindi ba makakasira ito sa credibility ng AGB na lantarang naglabas ng press release na ang GMA ay ang partner nila sa pag coconduct ng naturang survey?

Mega Manila LiveRatings builds on the latest innovations of the Philippine Mega Manila TAM service following the successful rollout of TVM5 meters with a permanent GPRS connection to an initial 480 homes in its Metro Manila section. Another 320 homes are being rolled out to complete the Suburbs section of the Mega Manila panel.
GMA 7 is embarking on a full-scale test of the service. At the recent launch, the network’s top executives, including those in charge of News and Public Affairs Programming, Entertainment Programming, Research, as well as Marketing were granted exclusive access to Mega Manila LiveRatings. Marissa Flores, GMA Senior VP for News and Public Affairs enthused, ‘This takes ratings monitoring to a new level that could result in faster reaction time’.
The Philippines aims for complete provision of Mega Manila LiveRatings to GMA 7 after the trial period."

Sa tingin ko lang,,, di magandang moved ito for both parties... They both lost their credibility. I am not kapamilya or kapuso kasi lahat naman ng channel pinanood ko.. But about this people ratings, I don't thnik the advertisers still believed on what AGB ratings have..
