GRAZILDA BIDS GOODBYE TONIGHT! WILL DWARFINA BEAT IMORTAL?

Big changes are awaiting next week in prime time as Grazilda bids goodbye and Dwarfina opts to overthrown Angel Locson's IMORTAL! Early in September Grazilda rose to popularity in the evening battle when it easily toppled  IDOL of the rival network. But things went bad for GMA when IMORTAL took over and wrestled its way to become Mega Manila's highest rating Drama. Imortal consistenly maintained its spot until early January where Prime time is favoring kapamilya programs. But now, a new threat comes in! will Dwarfina be able to bring back GMA's reign in Mega Manila? watch out!

WILLING WILLIE WEAKENS! NOAH & MARA CLARA BACK TO 30'S!

The battle for National leadership is locked between ABS-CBN's NOAH and Mara Clara as they struggle to catch top spot in the evening race! Latest figures from Kantar Media cited Noah and Mara Clara at par with 31.3% followed by allied programs TV Patrol and Imortal with 29.1% and 27.8% respectively. TV5's Willing Willie saw a decrease in January alllowing kapamilya rivals TV Patrol, Mara Clara and Noah to regain strenth and reach the 30's mark once again. Revillame's show is starting to drop down as the hype for Shalani's appearance is slowly dying, thus providing ABS-CBN programs the advantage in regaining kapamilya viewers.

Meanwhile two foreign series premiered last Jan.3 made it good in the  numbers game.Malparida started good beating Ang Yaman ni Lola by 2.6% while GMA's the Master Baker although beaten performed way better than than its predecessor with 10.7%. Daytime is still ruled by GMA-7 in both Mega Manila and National Surveys.

ABS-CBN CLAIMS LEADERSHIP IN 2010! KAPAMILYA SHOWS HELD WINNERS!

ABS-CBN Corporation, the country’s largest multimediaconglomerate, ended 2010 with a bang as its undisputed Primetime Bida line-up capped off the year with a whopping 41% national audience share last December versus GMA 7’s 28%.

Based on Kantar Media’s TV ratings data, ABS-CBN topped all TV stations for the whole of 2010 with an audience share of 43 percent, or 10 points higher than GMA’s 33 percent.

Eighteen out of the top 20 most watched programs nationwide were produced by ABS-CBN.

AGB MEGA MANILA PEOPLE RATINGS! ABS-CBN ROCKS PRIME TIME!

After weeks of unreported AGB TV ratings, Neilsen Media finally released data for Mega Manila people ratings last December 29-30, 2010! Numbers show  that Kapamilya programs Imortal, Kristine, Perfect Match and Mara Clara slamming the battle with their victories over rivals from the kapuso network! Imortal maintained a strong lead in the evening battle winning by 3.3% and 3.4% against Beauty Queen last December 29-30 , 2010! Mara Clara closely followed with just 0.1-0.4% behind, whereas Kristine and Perfect Match easily defeated the competition from GMA-7!

STAR CINEMA DOMINATES 2010's TOP GROSSING FILMS!

ABS-CBN Productions monopolizes the film industry as it dominates 2010's top grossing local films! Certified Box Office KING and Imortal Starrer John Loyd Cruz leads the pack with My Amnesia Girl and Miss You Like Crazy occupying the top 2 spots with P144.8M and P143.25M respectively followed by the comedy oriented Here Comes the Bride by Star Cinema with P116M. Of the top 15 highest grossing local films 10 of which are produced by Star Cinema! However the rankings may still change as Ang Agimat at si Enteng and Ang Tanging Ina Mo are still running in theaters nation wide. 

AGB'S PEOPLE RATINGS NAGLAHO! ASAN NA?

Marami na ang nagtatanong kung bakit hindi na gaanong naglalabas ng datos sa publiko ang AGB Neilsen na syang supplier ng TV ratings sa GMA-7 at TV5. Mula nitong disyembre ay halos wala nang nilalabas na report ang Philippine Entertainment Portal at ilang mga tabloid ukol sa People's Ratings ng AGB Neilsen. Matatandaan na sa noong nakaraang taon ay itinigil din ng GMA ang paglabas ng AGB TV ratings at bagkos ay ang tinatawag na People's Ratings na ang inilalabas sa gitna ng paglakas ng ABS-CBN sa Mega Manila. At ngayong kapansin pansin ang paglakas ng TV5 sa weekends at pangunguna ng Dos sa weekday prime time ay biglang itinigil ang pag labas ng datos mula sa AGB Neilsen. 

ASAP ROCKS WINS NEW YEAR PARTY OVER PARTY PILIPINAS!

Kantar's National household rating survey reveals ABS-CBN's ASAP Rocks winning the first battle at large over Party Pilipinas with a whooping 14.1% versus Party P's 9.1%. ABS-CBN shows also dominated the New Years day with Wansapanatym taking the top position in the over all rankings followed nightly newscast by TV Patrol and 24 Oras. Jewel Mishe's debut in MMK also won over rival Kapuso Mo Jessica Sojo with 18.9% vs 18.3%. However EAT BULAGA remained unbeatable topping daytime with 14.9%,4.2% better than showtime with 10.7%. Nevetherless Showtime's replay of the Grand Finals beats EB in the  end of 2010 with 15.6% vs 14.3%.

ADVERTISING LOADS NG ABS-CBN AT GMA-7 BAGSAK! TV5 BA ANG MAY SALA?

Kapansin pansin ang biglang pagbaba ng advertising loads ng ABS-CBN at GMA-7 nitong huling buwan ng 2010. Mapupuna na sa core business ng dalawang istasyon bumagsak sa halos kalahati ang airtime minutes sa prime time mapa weekends or weekdays. Sa Dos ang dating 10 ads kada commercial gap ay bumaba sa 4-7 ads nalang mula nitong Disyembre, habang sa Kapuso Network naman ay bumagsak ng 30-60% ang advertising minutes ng kanilang mga prime time programs. Tanging ang Bantatay ang naka maintain ng magandang advertising loads sa lahat ng evening shows ng siete.

MEET THE HIGHEST RATING PILOT AND FINAL EPISODES OF 2010!

ABS-CBN dominated the top 10 lists of highest rating pilot and final episode of 2010! the phenomenal Agua Bendita occupied the 2nd spot for both categories with 37.7% and 44.9% pilot and final episodes respectively. Meabwhile the highly budgeted NOAH made it on the top 1 highly appreciated pilot episodes, the longest running primetime program of the decade, May Bukas Pa, also topped the list of highest rating final episodes, both top notchers stars Zaijan Jaranilla.
