STAR MAGIC LAUNCHES CATALOGUE 2012!

The Star Magic Catalogue 2012, a special annual publication of ABS CBN Publishing, showcases the biggest and brightest stars in Philippine entertainment at their most beautiful and glamorous. The stunning images, captured through the lens of top fashion photographers BJ Pascual and Paolo Pineda, presents artists like Piolo Pascual, Bea Alonzo, Gerald Anderson, Kristine Hermosa, Zanjoe Marudo, Jessy Mendiola as modern celebrity icons of this generation.

The Star Magic Catalogue will be releasing a special limited edition cover exclusively at Fully Booked Bonifacio Global City this weekend ONLY. The first 150 who buy this edition on October 08 and 09 will get a chance to have their copies signed by their favorite stars at a special autograph-signing session on October 09, 4:00PM to 6:00PM. the activity will be held at the atrium of Fully Booked on Bonifacio High Street.

ABS-CBN LEADS NATIONAL PRIME TIME RATINGS FOR SEPTEMBER!

ABS-CBN Corporation once again dominated national TV ratings as it scored an average audience share of 42 percent or a whopping 12-point lead over GMA’s 30 percent in September on primetime from 6 PM onwards when TV viewing levels peak and where advertisers put most of their TV ad placements.

Data from Kantar Media also showed that in Metro Manila, ABS-CBN led all TV channels on primetime with an average audience share of 35 percent vs GMA’s 33%.

Thirteen out of the top 15 most watched programs in September were on ABS-CBN, sweeping the top ten slots. GMA’s top rating locally produced program, “Amaya,” only ranked 15th.

GMA-7 CLAIMS TO REMAIN NO.1 IN SEPTEMBER NATIONWIDE!

GMA Network closed September with a strong win in national television ratings (NUTAM) against ABS-CBN and TV5.

In fact, national viewership from the start of 2011 till the closing of the nine-month period showed a trending that establishes GMA as the top choice among the country’s free-to-air channels. Data come from broadcast industry’s most widely trusted ratings service provider Nielsen TV Audience Measurement.

Now that the Kapamilya network already acquired the rights to relaunch the two hit Mars Ravelos' superheroes namely "Darna" and "Captain Barbel," who do you think among the Kapamilya stars be suited in the said respective roles?!

For the role of "Darna," rumors spread before that Jessy Mendiola will be the new "Darna." But recently via her Twitter account, Jessy denied the rumors!

TWEEN HEARTS CHARACTERS TO STAR IN IKAW LANG ANG MAMAHALIN!

Beginning October 10, GMA-7 revitalizes one of its most memorable primetime dramas with the remake of Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin.

The 2011 version stars Kapuso Tweens Barbie Forteza, Joshua Dionisio, Joyce Ching and Kristoffer Martin, and will air in the afternoon block after Pahiram ng Isang Ina.

Having been part of several top-rating programs, and recently, of the movie Tween Academy, all four have proven their bankability and huge fan base. They now have the opportunity to appear in this original GMA drama, which had such a strong following when it first aired ten years ago.

GMA'S NATIONWIDE LEADERSHIP FAILS TO TRANSLATE INTO BIGGER REVENUES!

The new nationwide leadership being bragged by GMA Network is not being translated into bigger share in the advertising pie.

According to report released by AGB Nielsen, GMA Network has already surpassed rival network ABS-CBN in the nationwide total day ratings --- mainly because of its formidable noontime show Eat Bulaga which registers double figures than ABS-CBN’s Happy Yipee Yehey, a strong afternoon drama line-up, and its morning anime block.

Of course, primetime is a different story.

THE X FACTOR TO BE HOSTED BY SARAH GERONIMO?

This news have been confirmed by other reliable sources via twitter. ABS-CBN has bought the franchise of the popular television singing competition “The X Factor” from United Kingdom and is set to be aired early next year. Online reports indicate that the popular international singing competition is to be hosted by the Viva artist queen and Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo. Watch out for the nationwide auditions this December!

AMAYA EXTENDED NANAMAN HANGGANG JANUARY 2012!

Marian Rivera relishes the idea that she will continue to bring life to a warrior princess for much longer.

The GMA-7 actress recalls the announcement made by management regarding Amaya, her primetime series set during the pre-colonial times.

"Actually, dapat ang Amaya hanggang October lang tapos na-extend kami ng November. Then last, last week, sinabi nila na hanggang January na. So naka-dalawang extension siya. Ang saya ng Pasko kasi may trabaho," Marian told PEP.ph in a recent interview.

SHARON CUNETA DENIES LEAVING ABS-CBN!

MANILA, Philippines - Megastar Sharon Cuneta finally broke her silence on rumors that she is planning to move to a rival television network.

In an interview after her successful concert in Europe, Cuneta stressed that she is happy working in ABS-CBN.

"So far, yes I'm happy with ABS-CBN," she said.
