MANILA, Philippines - Lopez Holdings Corp. earned P4.538 billion in 2012, up 13.6% from P3.995 billion a year ago.
The flagship listed holding firm of the Lopez family disclosed this to the stock exchange on Friday, April 12, without providing additional details.
Lopez Holdings, formerly Benpres Holding Corp, serves as the holding company for the Lopezes' investments in broadcasting and cable, telecommunications and power.
It is the parent company of media giant ABS-CBN Corp, SkyCable, and BayanTel. Its interests in power generation are via First Philippine Holdings Corp. (FPHC), which includes First Gen Corp for generation and Manila Electric Company for distribution.
