MLKI LIFTS ABS-CBN'S PRIME TIME RATINGS! BUT GMA-7 RETAINS NATIONWIDE LEADERSHIP!

The premiere of Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin raised ABS-CBN's evening ratings by as much as 2% nationwide as reflected by Kantar Media's Household Survey. From March 7-10 ABS-CBN garnered a mean evening score of 24.30%, up 7.1% from GMA's 17.2%. This figure is also a 2.3% increase from the 22% average last Feb. 18-23, 2011. Bulk of the increase in ABS-CBN's evening numbers came from Prime time with a 3.5% leap, while non-primetime evening blocks remained unchanged at 9.1%. The new prime time bida garnered 31.9% household ratings versus GMA-7's 19.8% from March 7-10, 2011.


However, while the evening battle is going better for ABS-CBN its daytime line-up continues to suffer severe wounds from GMA's ever strenthening afternoon Drama. Channel 7 maintained a solid 7.3% lead over ABS-CBN with  17.1% versus 10.4% household ratings. The entrance of Dragonzball Z also lifted GMA's numbers in the morning by 1.2% offsetting ABS-CBN's advantage in prime time. GMA Network finished victorious with an overnight HH ratings of 14.5%, up 0.5% from ABS-CBN's 14%.

kelangan na ng major development sa afternoon block ng abs. yung morning okay lang kahit ganyan kasi mas madami namang ads ang abs sa morning dahil mas prefer ng advertisers ang dora at spongebob kesa sa pang-cheap na iba.

syungaers para sayo kasi totoo namang naungusan na ang abs-cbn ng gma,,kantar pa yan ang nagsabi ha.. eh paki namin kung mga kapamilya stars ang kinukuha sa commercial,,eh nagdadala pa yan ng malaking income sa network nyong bilyon bilyon ang utang? nakatulong ba yung stock market sa pagbayad ng utang ng bias-cbn? oo nga kahit mga kapamilya stars ang kinukuha sa commercial,,tingnan mo nga kung saang estayon madalas pinapalabas ang commercial..eh syempre sa gma...mag-isip ka..wag puro ka bitteran ang laman ng utak mo...

GMA trying to increase their income in a dirty tactics, kaya hindi nagwo-work. Bagsak pa rin ang income nila at sa stock market ay walang improvement.

Kawawang GMA hindi makapag-move on!!!!

Techically speaking, hindi dapat isinasama ang morning ratings sa pag-compute ng average ng total viewing. And believe it or not, primetime viewing rakes in as much (if not MORE) money as the morning and afternoon shows combined.

Mga kapuso, wag magbulag-bulagan na primetime viewing ang money maker ng mga TV network. And reality bites na kaya nag-seself proclaim ang GMA-7 na leading sila nationwide is because nawala ang grip nila sa primetime both in Mega Manila and Nationwide. It was their only way to convince advertisers to sustain their support.

Congratulations, ABS-CBN!!! Keep up your domination in Primetime and we always take pride na ORIGINAL and TRUE FILIPINO Kapamilya shows ang nagre-rate instead of imported Asian series and animes! It just goes to show how creative your entire team is in coming up with HIGH QUALITY shows for Filipinos!!

ang daming alibay ng mga kapams pag talo kc talo. Kaming mga kapuso tanggap namin na bumaba ang primetime slot dhl sa moro m0rong gnawa ng gma pero hapi kami dhl mism0ng kantar na ang nagsabi na pnpaniwalaan nyo na nangunguna ang GMA. Un na! Hehehe wag kc kain ng kain ng AMPALAYA!=P

mag-isip ka hung hang! ano ba ang istasyon mahilig mang daya? di ba ang abs-cbn huh? at saka sino pa naninira di ba abs? wala naman napapatunayan,,kaso nila laban sa agb binasua ng korte..pakkkk... at least ang gma sinabing number 1 kasi base yan sa survey...eh abs?

Pano mo makukuha ang overnight data k0ng hndi kasama ang morning slot? San kb nag aral? Dami ko tawa sau hehehe.
Papaliwanag ko sau.
Kumbga sa grades ang Overnight data ay ang GENERAL AVERAGE ng mga grades. Pano ka naman nila irarank k0ng sa isang subject lang ang basehan ng pagkuha ng first honor.

Ang abs mahina mula umaga hanggang hapon kabaliktaran sa GMA. Mataas ang ABS pero nahihila ang ratings ng primetime nila dhl sa poor perf0rmance ng m0rning at daytime.

Hindi pa inilagay ng kantar dyan ung ratings ng trip na trip meaning mas mbba pa sa 12.86 ng abs k0ng nilagay nila ung trip na trip ratings. Pero overall GMA dominates over abscbn in National from KANTAR. Clear na cgoro yan sau.

To you who's named Anonymous because you're too wimpy to fight head-to-head:

Don't ask me where I went to school because I'm sure you'd be embarrassed if I were to ask you back.

I was wrong in mentioning the word "technically" because it's true that overnight ratings need to consider ratings from morning to evening. My point was that these average ratings scheme is nothing but a plot to lure in advertisers because of the wilting Primetime figures of GMA. Siguro naman hindi ko na kailangang i-explain why it's called PRIMEtime in the first place di ba? Pero if you need me to define that, sige I'll gladly do that.

Primetime viewing is the most expensive block in a television's programming line-up. And that's where ABS-CBN dominates. Let me know if that's not clear enough for you para ma-elaborate ko pa ha?

And FYI: Before you go insulting other people's educational background, make sure that you have something to brag about. :)
