TV5 COMING CLOSE FOR THE 2ND PLACE IN MEGA MANILA! BUT ABS-CBN STILL RULES NATIONWIDE!

AGB Nielsen Media, the more recognized TV Ratings provider reports PLDT's TV5 coming closer in dethroning ABS-CBN in the no.2 spot for Mega Manila TV Ratings! Citing AGB Nielsen data from Jan. 23-31, TV5 garnered an average of 3.6% People ratings, just 1.1% away from ABS-CBN's 4.7% earned the same period. GMA Network maintained a healthy lead with 7% people ratings, 2.3% up from ABS-CBN. In terms of Audience share GMA still grabs the lead with an approximately 41%, ABS-CBN followed with 28% while TV5 settled at 21% from Jan. 23-31, 2011.    

Moreover from Jan. 10-23, GMA-7 even generated a whooping 42% audience share while TV5 came close in third with 22%,  ABS-CBN' got 26%. This period was the first week of Dwarfina were GMA's Prime time line up soared high. Nevertheless from Jan. 1-9 ABS-CBN was expected to reach 30% audience share but AGB Neilsen failed to give any report for the period. Unfortunately no solid report for the entire month of January was released for Mega Manila.


National Urban

For the National Urban Ratings, contrary to the earlier report were GMA Network claimed to lead National ratings from Jan. 10-31 by 0.1%, AGB Nielsen stressed however that for the entire month, ABS-CBN still holds the crown with 6.5% people ratings, up from GMA's 6.4%. 

GMA Network and TV5 are both subscribers of AGB Nielsen.

    I think these are the reasons why TV5 is coming closer to ABS-CBN:

    1. Its morning line-up is doing good, if not better than ABS-CBN:

    2. TV5 and ABS-CBN are already too close in the late afternoon block because of Shoutout, Alyna and I love you so (low ratings):

    3. Willing Willie is dividing kapamilya viewers in prime time, thus drastically reducing ABS-CBN's numbers in the evening block: and

    4. TV5 has already overtaken ABS-CBN in weekend Prime time for Mega Manila.

    Its better we if try to look at the ratings in greater detail.

    kasi ang audience ng kapatid, mga kapamilya din..
    tv5 has a lot of kapamilya talents..

    try mo ilagay dyan mga artista ng GMA-7, walang manonood

    i mean, need some proof?
    overloaded ng kapuso talents ang shows ng QTV11 before, pero EPIC FAILURE..

    the only fault of abs-cbn is, they allowed Willie to control the show..
    kung tutuusin si willie talaga nagbibigay ng false hopes sa mga tao, pinapaasa nya masyado sa game show nya..

    at least napakita sa news na hindi pinabayaan ng abs-cbn ang victims through the foundation of Fr. Caluag

    kahit anong mangyari para sa kin di matatakasan ni Willie ung ginawa nya sa mga STAMPEDE victims, masyado nyang pinaasa un tuloy andami namatay almost 72++ ata yun...

    weird no? ang yabang ni Willie , nasa top list sya ng BIR pero hanggang ngaun di pa rin nya na sesettle ung kaso nya...

    sabi nga nya sa copyright case eh..

    Wowowwee is Willie Revillame..
    so thats solid proof na sya na mismo nag claclaim sa nangyari...

    don't blame AGB.. the data should be available, its up to the subscriber if they want to release it to the public or not.
    syempre kung kulelat ka, itago mo na lang, business is business..
