PIA GUANIO CONFIRMS SHE IS MARRIED!

Sa launching ng coffee table book ng Eat Bulaga! Ang Unang Tatlong Dekada noong Huwebes, October 6, ay sinubukan ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) na kumpirmahin kay Pia Guanio ang balitang ikinasal na siya.

Lumabas kasi ang usap-usapan noong nakaraang linggo na ikinasal na si Pia kaya wala siya sa mga programa niya sa GMA-7, partikular na ang Eat Bulaga! at Showbiz Central.

Dalawang beses nilapitan ng PEP staff writer na si Jocelyn Jimenez si Pia sa Whitespace sa Chino Roces Avenue Extension, Makati City para tanungin kung maaari siyang makapanayam.

DERECK RAMSY TO ENTERTAIN NETWORK TRANSFER AFTER FEBRUARY 2012!

Derek Ramsay was allegedly offered a multi-million peso contract with another TV station, something which the actor denied. “Wala pa, wala pang specific number or anything that was offered to me. I have been approached, yes, but like I said, I won’t entertain anything unless my contract is expired. So even with ABS-CBN, ‘di pa ako nakipag-upo para makipag-negotiate for a new contract. But with the other network, wala pang specific na bigay sa akin.”

He did not deny that he is not closing his doors on possible negotiations but added that he is happy with his current career and his contract won’t expire until next year. “We’ll see what happens. February pa naman ‘yon (expiration of contract). Right now, I still have the projects that I have with ABS-CBN. I have to fulfill and do all my responsibilities to my mother network right now so I can’t entertain anything.”

GMA-7 TO RECRUIT JINKY PAQUIAO IN SHOWBIZ?

Malamang sumabak na rin sa showbiz ang misis ni Manny Pacquiao na si Jinkee dahil sa alok na mag-host ito ng isang television show.

Sa ulat ni showbiz reporter Aubrey Carampel, sinabing pinag-uusapan na kung ano ang magiging tema ng show ni Jinkee.

Pero kung si Jinkee daw ang tatanungin, nais niyang may tema tungkol sa public service ang show. Ayon sa kanya, okey lang naman daw kay Cong Manny ang pagpasok niya sa showbiz.

"Nakakadalawang taping days pa lang po so may naiwan pa pong isang araw. Hinihintay lang si Miss KC na bumalik, hindi ko po alam kung nag-abroad siya.

LARRY MARTIN IS THE VERY FIRST PINOY BIGGEST LOSER!

After spending 125 days in the Biggest Loser camp, the 36-year-old Larry Martin was declared on Saturday as the very first Pinoy Biggest Loser.

Martin lost the highest weight percentage of 39.61% since ABS-CBN's "The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition" aired its first episode on May 30.

He entered the Biggest Loser camp weighing 255 pounds and lost 101 pounds.

He now weighs 154 pounds.

The National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB) honored this week GMA News TV's "Investigative Documentaries" for being a tool in communicating statistics to a wider audience.

The program's host, veteran journalist Malou Mangahas, also received an award for communicating the importance of statistics through her work for "Investigative Documentaries" and the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism.

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) is pleased to announce that on 05 October 2011, it will formally launch its revised classification ratings for television programs embodied in Memorandum Circular No. 05-2011. As it is, the revised classification ratings for television program will be as follows: General Patronage (“G”), Parental Guidance (“PG”), Strong Parental Guidance (“SPG”), and Disapproved for airing on Television (“X”).
