GMA CEO CONFIDENT ABOUT GMA'S PERFORMANCE DESPITE COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT!

Listed GMA Network Inc. is ready to face challenges in the broadcast industry in 2013, posting better than expected growth amid the challenges in 2012.GMA chairman and CEO Felipe Gozon said during the annual stockholder's meeting on Wednesday the company is "more than prepared to meet the challenges in broadcast."

"2012 was a challenging year for us but your company was able to achieve success... in 2013; continuous expanding and adding revenue sources is astutely pursued," Gozon said.

He noted that with a growing fragmented users, GMA is undertaking measures to ride with the changes.

"For broadcast companies to survive, they may have to evolve... on three dimensions—broadening of customer base, expanding relationships with customers and prolonging content life cycle... For GMA, we are already undertaking those," Gozon said.

In 2012, GMA Network posted gross revenues of P13.93 billion while net income was P1.617 billion, Gozon added.

"Fragmented users" = mga ex-GME fans na sawa (o feeling) sawa na sa Kamuning!

"Customers" = THE SOCIALLY ACTIVE TELEVIEWERS!

Then here comes GME's latest PR (election coverage-related this time) showing that the network still stick to AGB Nielsen "ratings and audience measurement."

But wait: "Urban Luzon, which accounts for 76 percent of the total urban TV household population of the Philippines" - evidence seems scanty?

On the same topic of the 2013 Elections coverage na-preempt ng ABS-CBN ang mga afternoon dramas nila habang sa GME mga primetime dramas - KANTAR RATINGS FAIL FOR GME.

Quintuple post...

According to PEP, PP's replacement which will premiere on June 2 has the working title of "SAS" ("Sunday All Stars"). It will be a variety show with game show elements and about half of PP's mainstays will be there.

EXPECT RIP-OFF ACCUSATIONS BY ABS-CBN AND TV5 FANS!!!

Isang kangusong PEXer ay nag-suggest ng isang reality show na ang subject ay THE MOST PROPAGANDIZED LOVETEAM FLESHED OUT BY GME! At kung nagkatotoo, EXPECT RIP-OFF ACCUSATIONS BY MELASON FANS!
