Does Vic feel nervous about Eat Bulaga being pitted again against Willie’s show?
“Matagal na naming kasabay yun, okay lang. Wala nang dapat ikaba,” said the TV host who is one-third of the formidable comedy trio Tito, Vic and Joey.
TV5 chairman Manny V. Pangilinan (MVP) says the Kapatid Network is reworking its program grid this 2013 in an effort to cut its losses.
From January to June 2012, TV5 incurred losses amounting to P2.8 billion. MVP projects that the Kapatid Network lost roughly the same amount during the second half of 2012.
Although Pangilinan is optimistic that this figure will decrease in the coming years, he admits: "It's really the TV5 that continues to struggle. It will take longer than expected to become profitable."
According to an article published in InterAksyon.com, one of the major reprogramming moves is the transfer of Willie Revillame's show to the noontime slot.
"I think it's best to reposition and reformat the show. It would cost us, but we would expect a better revenue," MVP was quoted as saying in a December 27 article published in TV5's online news portal.
To date, Wil Time Bigtime is being aired in the primetime slot, pitting it against the news programs of rival networks ABS-CBN and GMA-7.
The TV5 executive also revealed that the new noontime show will be aired from Delta Theater in Quezon City instead of the network's Novaliches studio.
Last November, Willie announced that Wil Time Bigtime will only be airing until January 2013.
During the November 24 episode of Wil Time Bigtime, Willie told the audience, “Hanggang nandito kayo at nandito kami, para po sa inyo ito. Tandaan niyo, ‘Wow na wow, Willing Willie.”
This prompted others to think that this could be the title of his new noontime show.
As a result, Willie is expected to compete once again with GMA-7's longest-running noontime show, Eat Bulaga. He will also face competition from his former home network, ABS-CBN, via the variety show It's Showtime.

Pang-masa talaga si Willie, nakakatawa talaga siya. Pero minsan kapag lumalabas ang pagiging mainitin ng ulo niya at panlalait sa mga contestants at staff niya eh nakakainis talaga. Pero sorry Willie, HINDING-HINDI mo na MAPAPANTAYAN ang pagiging PHENOMENAL HIT ng WOWOWEE, dahil sa KAHAMBOGAN mo kaya ka unti-unting NAWAWALA.

iaayos muna ng tv5 signal nila. aanhin mo mga sikat na artista kung d naman napapanood sa buong pinas. show ni willie dinudumog lng dahil sa pera. d gaya sa eat bulaga khit d sila kgaya ni willie n bigay ng bigay pero no.1 parin. ginagawa lng ni willie tamad mga audience nya. sa halip maghanapbuhay umaasa n lng sa pamigay n pera.
I'm not a fan of noontime show. Ngayong tatapatan ng EB at show ni willie ang Showtime dapat si pakampante ang ABS-CBN. Bakit di nila ilagay ang Minute To Win It sa noontime block! Im sure mas exciting ang MTWI kesa sa paulit ulit na games ng noontime show.
Ibahin sana ng ABS CBN ang mukha ng noontime show. Yun lang. Good luck sa ABS-CBN :)

Agree rin ako sayo teh! Pero malaking RISK yan if ever. Maganda ang MTWI, yes nakakaaliw pero alam mo naman ang mga Pinoy iba-iba ang taste kahit maganda because of loyalty stick pa rin sila sa show na kahit boring na pinipilit pa ring panoorin. AHAHAHA! Pero life is about taking risks. Bakit hindi nila itry ilagay lang sa pang-sabado ang It's Showtime sa noontime pa rin at ilagay sa Noontime ang MTWI monday to friday para mas masaya. Pero i doubt na gagawin yan ng Dos. Pero knowing Dos, magaling sila sa mga pasabog. We never know baka biglang baguhin at pagandahin nila ang It's Showtime. Sorry kay Willie pero wala na ang kinang niya, never niya malalagpasan ang pagiging HIT ng WOWOWEE. Sad truth Wil.
Vic doesn't have to worry. Vic is Vic, Willie is Willie. May kanya-kanyang mga fans sila.
