ABS-CBN REGISTERS HUGE IMPROVEMENT IN DAYTIME RATINGS!

ABS-CBN shows dominated the list of top 15 programs in June, occupying the top 12 spots, expanded data from Kantar Media showed.
The network owned by the Lopez family also showed a "remarkable improvement" on daytime (6 a.m. to 6 p.m.) as its afternoon series “Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo” was the top daytime weekday program from June 24-30 with an average audience share of 47% beating “Eat Bulaga,” which had an average audience share of only 40% for the same period.


The new ratings data, which now covers rural areas across Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao, showed ABS-CBN pulling away from its rival GMA nationwide last month.

Kantar Media added 6.315 million homes in rural areas across the Philippines to its existing 8.82 million homes in urban areas, bringing the total TV universe to 15.135 million homes nationwide.

"What we see is during primetime, ABS gets more viewers in rural. They have a higher percentage of viewers in rural," Gabriel Buluran, Kantar Media general manager, told reporters on Tuesday.

Data from Kantar Media’s combined urban and rural TV audience measurement survey showed that ABS-CBN's average national audience share hit 42% on total day or a 10-point lead versus GMA with 32%.

ABS-CBN strengthened its performance especially in the last week of June where it obtained an average audience share of 43% from June 24-30 against GMA’s 31%.

The Kapamilya Network also made Philippine TV history as its phenomenal drama “Walang Hanggan” topped all primetime weekday programs with a whopping 45% rating on June 29.

Napapansin ko since last week, months, wala na na nagcococment na KAPUSO? Like LongTALILONG.... Lumobog na din ba sa kailaliman ng lupa, tulad ng KAPUSO double no. 1 DAW?

good job atleast nakakarecover na sila sa mababang ratings pero maraming ads ngayon na tumaas ang ratings lalo pang dadami ang ads nyan for sure

NGLABAS NA NG SURVEY ANG AGB FROM JULY 2 TO 5, kapansin pansin ang biglang pagtaas ng ratings ng ibang shows nila lalo na ung morning at late evening....para macover up yung pagkatalo nila mula sa princess and i, walang hanggan at lorenzos time...

para pagka-ng-total nga naman lamang pa rin sila....

akala naman nila malilinlang nila ang mga advertisers....

kaya ang layo tuloy ng difference ng ad revenues na pumapasok sa dos at syete........sus...SOBRANG LAKI NG SA DOS, ALAM KASI NG LAHAT NA MAS PINAPANOOD ANG MGA PROGRAMA SA DOS..

DILAT PO, GISING AT HINDI MANGMANG ANG MGA TELEVIEWERS AND ADVERTISERS!!!
