MANILA, Philippines – Business Unit Head Lauren Dyogi has denied reports saying “Pinoy Big Brother” (PBB) will be moving channels.
Dyogi said the Endemol-franchised reality show will be staying with broadcast giant ABS-CBN.
ABS-CBN News learned on Thursday that the Endemol Management is delighted with PBB’s run in the Philippines.
“There is no truth to that, PBB will stay in ABS-CBN. In fact, management and Endemol are very happy with Pinoy Big Brother under our network,” Dyogi said.
Dyogi added PBB has the most impact in Asia compared to other Big Brother shows in the region.
“We are actually the biggest Big Brother franchise in Asia. It will stay in ABS-CBN,” he said.
From more than 30,000 auditionees, the PBB management trimmed it down to 48.
The show, however, will only reveal how many people will enter the famous house on October 29.
Dubbed as “PBB Unlimited,” Dyogi said this season will be full of “unlimited possibilities.”
“Dahil tawag namin dito unlimited, maraming mga pasabog, buong araw niyo ito mapapanood. Hindi lang sa TV puwede rin sa computer at marami pang iba. Talagang this is the biggest and most challenging edition,” he said.
PBB will be hosted by the show’s mainstays Toni Gonzaga and Bianca Gonzalez.
They will be joined in by 2 new hosts, Kapamilya stars Robbie Domingo and Martin Concio.
