IT'S OFFICIAL: ABS-CBN IS "AGAIN" THE PHILIPPINES' NO.1 NETWORK!

As gestured by the figures released by the global TV ratings provider Kantar Media Research, ABS-CBN is undoubtedly back as the Nationwide leading TV Network! 

According to KMR's figures, Showtime, NBA Playoffs, Summer Power and the PRIME TIME Bida line-up made up most of the channel's advantage in the National battle. ABS-CBN's audience shares on the mentioned time slots improved bannered by the leading Trio, 100 days to Heaven, MLKI and Mara Clara! Channel 2 cornered a whooping 14.5% household ratings for the period May 24-26, besting GMA's accumulated all-day rating of  only 12.1%. This figure is convertible to a 36.6% vs 30.4% on Fixed Relative Audience Share (FRAS) in favor of the Kapamilya Network.

ABS-CBN leads the battle in the late morning block with a 41.7%(ABS-CBN) vs 25.3% (GMA-7), non-prime time evening slots 36.6% vs 30.4%, and the Prime Time Block with a 43.8% (ABS-CBN) vs 23.2% (GMA-7).  It also managed to decrease its inferiority in the afternoon block by increasing its audience share from 24% to 28.8% while channel 7's share went dwon to 38.2% from months ago's  42%.

GMA's Telebabad line-up dropped 3% in the past 5 weeks while ABS-CBN's Prime time Bida grew 4% the same period.  However with the commencement of GMA's Biggest Project for 2011, AMAYA, will the trend shift once more to favor the Kapuso Network?

ABS-CBN = 30% (43.8%)

GMA-7 = 15.8% (23.2%)
