Former Kapamilya turned politician, Singing Bee host , Ceasar Montano will be the newset Kapamiya Recruit in GMA-7! Philippine Entertainment Portal reported on thier Pep Alert that the TV host actor is expected to sign an exclusive contract with GMA Network anytime this week. Among the projects offered are a teleserye, Sitcom and a movie with GMA Films. He is also rumored to do a game show with kapuso network. His supposed come back in showbiz after failing in the local elections was to return hosting The Singing Bee, but unfortunately the Management decided to give a similar break to Martin Nievera and Garry Valentiano in "Twist and Shout", thus the actor Tv host will most likely accept the offer from the rival network.
Who will go next? It seems that with the heithened freenzy in the ratings game, a tremendous change will go in shadow...Is this a big loss to ABS-CBN?

its because most of us prefer buying more expensive products piso...we dont use colgate, we prefer synsodine...we dont use palmolive/safeguard/etc. we use dove...so there...its not na we dont have buying powers. uto-uto lang kasi ang naniniwala at kumakagat sa commercials...we are wise viewers, we dont rely on write-ups and commercials and ratings...we watch what we think is nice, we buy what we think is effective, doesnt matter who the endorser is :D

Hello no ang ABS-CBN institution na yan. LARGEST MEDIA COMPANY yan dito sa Pinas.
At kahit langawin pa ng tv ads yan still magsusurvive pa yan dahil madaming sources of revenue yan.
Well tingnan na lang natin ang performance ng GMA this quarter tiyak pilay sila dahil kumonti ang tv ads nila.
FYI: 55% ng revenue ng ABS-CBN is from TV ads alone, 45% comes from TFC, CABLE, internet, magazine business nila.
On the othe rhand, 93% ng revenue ng GMA is from tv ads, 7% lang is from other businesses...so your guess is as good as mine...tiyak sobrang affected ang financial ng GMA this quarter dahil sobrang bumaba tv ads nila.
Ayon na rin sa research done by AGB eh ang CLASS A,B,C ang viewers ng ABS-CBN, yung may PURCHASING POWER.

I dont wanna sound nagmamarunong, pero from what i could remember, not sure on what subject, but the philippine economy consists of 3 classes lang naman. Upper class (10% of the population) mayayamang tao, businessman, earning millions a year. Middle class (30%) earning thousands or even millions din, like the doctors, engineers, architects, etc. and the lower/bottom class (60%), earning minimum, or maliit lang talaga. Most of the people wasting or spending their time watching tv fall sa 3rd class, meron din naman sa middle class pero hindi dinidibdib ang mga pinapanood and hindi nakikipag away about a station's status. Kaya nga these stations wants to please the masses (majority of the population) dahil ito ang mas madali nilang mapapaniwala, compared to the upper class and most of the middle class.
