Third media player TV5, has made a move to challenge the rivals' aggressive expansion to digital media by expanding and improving its offerings in the web. TV5 has recently launched www.tv5.com.ph with offerings ranging from video on demand episodes similar to the offerings on iwant.tv, ABS-CBN's video streaming service. As traditional advertising revenues stalled, media companies are aggressively expanding to other opportunies, particularly online streaming as content consumption rapidly shifts from TV, Radio and Print to mobile and other internet enabled devices.
